Capella di Voce werd in 1998 opgericht door componist-dirigent Kurt Bikkembergs. Meer dan tien jaar lang legde het vocaal ensemble zich toe op de hedendaagse koormuziek, met de Vlaamse in het bijzonder. De samenwerking met het Vlaams Radio Koor, de Capella Sanctorum Michaelis et Gudulae, de Capella Breda (NL), het Prometheus Ensemble, het HERMESensemble, het Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Pascal Schumacher, Jan Vuye, Bart Jacobs, Johan Hermans en Stefaan Desmet getuigen van een hoog niveau op een technisch moeilijk parcours.
Vanaf 2011 gaat het koor exclusief samenwerken met MONTEFAGORUM Productions. Vier aaneensluitende dagen in november zondert de Capella zich af van de wereld om een CD op te nemen van prachtige maar vergeten koormuziek van Vlaamse grootmeesters. De partituren, meestal nog in handschrift, worden voor de eerste keer gepubliceerd door uitgeverij Euprint (edited by Kurt Bikkembergs). De composities op deze “Voorbij de zon en de wind” zijn alle eerste wereldopnamen. www.capelladivoce.be

Capella di Voce was founded in by composer and conductor Kurt Bikkembergs in 1998. This vocal ensemble specialized for over than ten years on contemporary choir music, Flemish choir music in particular. The cooperation with the Flemish Radio Choir, the Capella Sanctorum Michaelis et Gudulae, the Cappella Breda (NL), the Prometheus Ensemble, the HERMESensemble, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Pascal Schumacher, Jan Vuye, Bart Jacobs, Johan Hermans and Stefaan Desmet shows that their technically difficult trail reaches a high level. From 2011 on, the Capella di Voce exclusively cooperate with MONTEFAGORUM Productions. In November the Capella secludes itself four days in a row from the world to record a CD with beautiful but forgotten choral music of Flemish masters. The scores, still in manuscript, are for the first time published by Euprint (edited by Kurt Bikkembergs). Montefagorum Productions wants to put contemporary Flemish choral works more in the spotlight and be at the same time a platform for all choirs that want to make a valuable recording.   A team of professionals (recording, design, editing, translations) selects very carefully and consciously every program and turns it into a Flemish product of a high standard.
